Because of the stressful situation at the beginning of the week, I forgot to announce that we have a new family member. The Mother went to the Green Wall Shelter and adopted one of the few remaining sibling of the Litter of Squillions. Meet Puma:
I really like Puma. She is very well mannered, doesn't eat to much food and never complains. The only problem....she likes the dog. Can't have everything, I guess. Plus I found out that she doesn't have to wear nail caps. Apparently she doesn't scratch on the furniture. I must have talk with her about that. All cat scratch furniture.

Charcoalie is happy that Puma found a good home. He was gettin worried. Ya know, he doesn't scratch nothin, eifur. Don't know if he likes dogs.
I highly suggest Badness that if you are anything like your name implies, you get down and dirty with some serious kitty hazing to make Puma feel right at home!
Hi Puma, Vir-ginger sends her love. Do not harass poor Puma like Zeus recommends. Zeus was getting Blackie into all sorts of trouble. Including turnin him into a Peeping Tom.
Now Badness, don't get Puma into trouble. Misty and Dusty are also very glad that another one of their family got a for-ever home.

Mommakitty puts this stuff on the furniture so we don't get tempted to scratch it up - it works...we don't like the feel of it. Plus we have scratchy posts that Mommakitty keeps sprayed with the nip!
We have one of Puma's look alikes. His name is Sioux. We got him from our Secret Paw Derby.

I hazed Daisy so much I got busted big time by the Mother. I will have to try more subtle forms of hazing with Puma.

Tucker is the only peeping tom in our house! What could I do to Puma that is so subtle the Mother wouldn't notice?

Thie Mother is starting to say Puma is the purrfect pet. No litter box, no scratching, no pestering, Just a sweet face and lots of love. I think she is the Mothers favorite.

I think the Mother has used Sticky Paws before. In fact, my ever clever sister, Scrappy, learned to pull the stuff off with her teeth.
Shaggy, Scooby and Scout,
We wanted to make the Meezers and the Meezers parents feels better. I lost my sisfur a few years ago and it was very hard on us. Especially, the Mother. That is when The Mother got Scrappy to be my sisfur.
Oh no, kitties not posed to scratch the furniture. We scratch the boxy pad fing that Mommy gotted us. Although it is so scratched up that it is fallin apart now.
You know, they don't use litter boxes either. I think ours have been declawed.

Our Pinky doesn't scatch the furniture either. If you find out why the squillions don't scratch furniture, let us know. Maybe they don't have that gene ~Merlin, Shadow, KO Ko
